Ricoh Theta X: 360-Grad-Kamera erzeugt 60-MP-Aufnahmen

Im Vergleich zur Theta Z1, die vor rund drei Jahren vorgestellt wurde, hat Ricoh die maximale Auflösung der 360-Grad-Bilder von 22,6 auf 60,6 Megapixel erhöht; Videos mit verbesserter Stabilisierung zeichnet die Kamera nun mit 5,7K (5760 × 2880 Pixeln bei 30p, mono) statt 4K auf. Möglich machen dies zwei neue Bildsensoren mit jeweils 48 Megapixeln. Auch die beiden Superweitwinkelobjektive hat Ricoh neu konstruiert.

Bessere Bedienung dank Touchscreen

Ein weitere Neuerung ist der 2,25-Zoll-Touchscreen, der die Bedienbarkeit als Stand-alone-Kamera vereinfacht, also ohne Smartphone-Anbindung. Der Akku ist nun erstmals wechselbar und der interne Speicher von 46 GB lässt sich durch eine microSDXC-Karte erweitern. Den Kontakt zu einem Smartgerät nimmt die Theta X nun auch per Bluetooth auf; Wi-Fi ist natürlich weiter an Bord, wobei die Geschwindigkeit der Datenübertragunng verbessert worden sein soll.

Zu den besonderen Funktionen zählt der Time-Shift-Aufnahmemodus der zeitversetzte Aufnahmen auf beiden Sensoren ermöglicht. Somit ist es dem Fotografen möglich, nicht auf der Aufnahme zu erscheinen, ohne den Raum verlassen zu müssen.

Weitere Funktionen sind: GPS, USB-C zur Stromversorgung und Serienaufnahmen mit 20 B/s bei reduzierter Auflösung von 15 Megapixeln. Die Theta X nutzt ein Android-basiertes Betriebssystem, was Drittentwicklern ermöglicht, Plug-ins zu entwickeln. Auf der Service-Plattform RICOH360 kann der Nutzer unter anderem 360-Grad-Panoramatouren erstellen.

Die Theta X ist ab März für ca. 1000 Euro erhältlich. Als Zubehör gibt es bspw. die Objektivabdeckung TL-3 für ca. 25 Euro.

Ricoh weiter im Fachhandel

Entgegen anders lautenden Meldungen sind Ricoh-Produkte (auch Pentax-Kameras) weiter im deutschen Fachhandel erhältlich. Eine angekündigte Umstellung auf einen Online-Direktvertrieb gilt lediglich für Japan.
